I once said in my twitter feed, “This December is so busy I don’t feel a Christmas atmosphere at all :D” Yep it’s true. The office was so busy we barely had time to play ‘Winter Wonderland”. We have been blessed this year with all sorts of things. Not just jobs, but friends, families, relationships, great experiences. Being in the end of a year you get a great view looking back on what you have done and what you have been given.

We had a big lunch today. Besides my family and Francy’s, we invited some other families that are dear to our hearts. I forget the last time I was that happy. Everyone I cared about is under one roof (well, sort of, since we’re BBQ-ing) on a day that was made to celebrate family. Laughter and the smell of grilled beef fills the air.

I admit that being that busy had made me spend less time with them, and most of the time even putting them second to work. But after this Christmas lunch I got a wake up call to set my priorities straight.

So fellas, Merry Christmas, and I hope that this special season will bring you more than just presents and calories, but things that are closer to your hearts. No better time for this than Christmas.
