Vincent Laforet is one of the photographers whose works I deeply admire, long before he made a switch to being one of the leaders in still+moving pictures production taken with HDDSLRs. Eventhough that he is the most knowledgeable and most equipped photographer/directior in the industry, in my humble opinion, I think his photographs are still a lot better than his videos 😀 Well, of course he’s just getting warmed up on this video thing; his photography career goes back to a couple of decades (check out his site navigate to ‘Perspective’ then ‘New York Moments’ – one of my all-time favorite photograph series.)

I myself shot a couple of commercial projects, so these steel and cables and matte board and lightstand and bounce panels are quite close to my heart.
