The Softest Bed in The World

I’ve seen an magazine ad for such a thing in a luxury lifestyle magazine.

It’s made from the best materials, it involved hundreds of hours of man hours and a lot of technical and scientific breakthroughs, and it costs around $ 50.000 or Rp 500.000.000

I know a lot of people with money that would buy that bed.

But I think the softest bed in the world is free.

It costs nothing.

All you have to do is have a productive, and meaningful day.

Because nothing is more delicious than lying on your own bed at night while knowing that you have given your best that day.

You know what I’m talking about, right?

That you have finished a lot of milestone tasks that moved your project closer to its completion.

That you have spent worthy conversations with every people that you meet that day.

That you have been nothing but answers, not problems.

That you have given time and attention to your loved ones.

That you know that you live your life purposedly, and this is what you want to do if it was the last day of your life.

The softest bed in the world could be a creaky wooden board in a hut deep in the jungle, belong to a volunteer teacher, or it could be an old mattress in a rented room, belong to an office worker.

Steve Jobs once said, “Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.”

Don’t you think Steve slept like a baby? 🙂

You’re sleeping on the softest bed in the world when lying there, you know you deserve tonight’s rest, because you have done everything you can to make today meaningful.

Wouldn’t we want feeling that everytime we close our eyes?
