Live WR : Shooting in the market
Edward Suhadi comment 0 Comments
Sorry I’m a bit late. Well just say the title ‘Live’ doesn’t fit the series anymore, hahaha….

This below is from a series we shot yesterday morning in the market. I’ve shot quite a number of times in a market before from my old commercial days shoot, especially for the banking sector. The main thing about shooting on markets is you have to connect to people first, don’t be a stranger but make them a part of the shoot, get them excited.

The rice stall is a friend’s so they are really cooperative about the shoot, even excited I guess. William here is potrayed as a humble everyday layman with an honest job but with a villain bos.

The props, wardrobe, the set, it’s quite like a movie shoot actually. The good thing about shooting intown outside Jakarta is that people usually still very open and not suspicious about things, so the crowds are loving the scene. Some people thought there’s a thief gettig caught or maybe a fire just started.

More to come.
