Cool idea. I’ve heard about it but just had the time to really look into it. Instead of asking people for presents for your birthday or anniversaries, how about you join them, set up a page like Seth Godin’s here, and have people who want to send you gifts to give money instead to make safe, drinking water available. You don’t another need set of ties anyways.

PS 1 : I bumped into this story of Alex and Kristin who give all the gifts of their wedding party to the charity.
PS 2 : The man on the video is Scott Harrison, the founder. Kinda like a cool guy. I followed him @scottharrison just now.
