It Takes More Than Talent

Here’s Ted with a voice out of gold, but he’s out homeless in the streets.

Reminds me of Outliers, a book by Malcolm Gladwell. In it he tries to find out why some people made it in life, and some people don’t. He unfolds these striking evidence of stories and research that point out, to succeed, you need more than talent. Everything gotta be in the right mix: the timing, the character, the family, the opportunities, the values, the perseverance. For me personally, it definetely shows that behind talent and working hard, there’s a higher power involved in every success.

Heck, Ted Williams could as well be a Don LaFontaine if some pieces of his life fell together in place.

The book literally changed my life. I definetely think you could also benefit from it.

Now replay the video again. I know you want to hear Ted once more 🙂
