The Wedding of Hunky Stephen and Stunning Della
Edward Suhadi comment 4 Comments

Remember Della? Remember the good client? Well, she’s hitched now. Stephen, you lucky basterd you.

Definetely one of the best series of pictures I’ve taken on a wedding day. Like a perfect dough, everything just fall into place. The sexy bride. The hunky groom. The tattoo. The red bow tie. The Focker parents. The crazy 18 person multinational-benetton-ad-bridal-party. The Bali weather. The loud after-party. 😀

It’s kinda hard for us photographers to admit this, but getting the perfect pictures involved so many elements, a lot of them is out of our control. I could show you a couple of pointers but in the end, on top of our talent and professionalism and experience, lots and lots of things are out of our hands. Thus prayers are important 😀 For moods, for health, for weather, for those Kodak moments 😀

I just had so much good times with this couple. After our photo encounters, we got close, and I discovered that from the start, they could have any photographer they want, but they deliberately choose me.

I thank you Stephen and Della for believing. I hope these pictures will prove your faith in me 😀

PS: I put up a gallery on the website since the there’s so much pictures. Be sure to drop by.

  2. Dear Edward,
your pictures are superb, any photographer can shoot a snapshot ( except my grandma …. hehehe ) that’s why they called snapshot, but your composition and lighting, the perspective and position, the time of day. A careful eye decides what gets included or excluded, the patterns and colors to use, and dozens of other artistic elements. As with cooking, painting, sculpture, and architecture, and not to forget good coffee ;0) …. it is both an art and a skill.
Again, as with the artistic abilities mentioned above, a huge amount of work goes into developing the skills to make those kind of pictures ….

and you’re really humble man 😛 ,as good images take a lot of preparation, thought, skill, and hard work.

I always enjoying your works man …

  3. @stephen&della : ur the best guys! 😀

@richard : mantap kali bapak ini kurator karya seni ya 😀
