Say 'Happy Birthday' differently to Edward this year
Edward Suhadi comment 0 Comments

Birthdays have been different for the past few years. People used to look for presents, they shop carefully, wrapped it, wrote a note etc to give their loved ones gifts.

Then we send cards.

Then we call them.

Then we sms (cost like $0.03).

And now we only write on Facebook walls.

From your loved ones, as much as we love it, and as much as they love to prepare it, elaborate dinners are prepared, often cost a lot, and we go home only to get that stuffed tummy feeling.

And often, as you grow old, people used to say “You’re old enough, you don’t need presents,” while infact it’s our busy lives that left us with no time to look for presents. At least that’s what happened to me.

This year for my birthday I want to celebrate it differently.

If you think I am important to you, or you have been blessed by my existence in any way, on dinners, on chats, on meetups, by my blog, my pictures, my writings, and you like to give me a present this birthday instead of only a tweet or a post on my wall, give it here instead. t’s easy. Any amount, $5? $10? $100? Any Visa or Mastercard will do.

I’m not asking much, usually for a friend birthday you shop like:
USB disk? A book? Around $20
Average tie or belt will cost $20-$50
Nice big dinner around $50-$150

This year I will be 31 on the 27 September. And I would really like if I can have $1000 in gifts, so my 31th birthday could provide clean water for 10 families for the next 20 years.

Can we do it? 🙂

If you have been looking for what will make Edward happy for his birthday this year, something easy and simple yet so meaningful for me, help me reach my goal.

You don’t even have to choose between tie colors.

Thank you,
Edward

PS: I’ve been following Charity Water for some time now. Cool idea, cool implementation, cool cause.
